  1. That's its own suggestion entirely. I need an arrowhead mold so badly. I forged 9 arrowheads once and then never again. I returned with only half of them after one hunting trip, and for 25% more damage per second in a situation where it isn't even time dependent.
  2. Is there a use for fertilizer? It has proved completely useless to me in several playthroughs. It was always more worth it to till more soil and plant more crops instead of looking for fertilizer.
  3. Yeah. I haven't had an issue with them shattering. It's possible I had an impurity from my casting process, I should try it again and be more careful.
  4. Really good point. You know what, that just changed my whole argument. I've only ever cast zinc, where some things would need to be forged.
  5. I like this idea a lot. Imagine a wolf helping you hunt by finishing off running prey or fighting monsters with you.
  6. Copper is almost the worst thing to make tools out of. I suggested this since I tried both in real life. It is nearly impossible for pure copper to hold an edge or any kind of thin shape, whereas zinc can. It has a higher hardness and toughness to where it can be used in arrowheads and tools. There's a case in the game for it since this game wants to be realistic and already has these metals. There are areas where no copper exists, but plenty of zinc and nickel does. It wouldn't make sense to need to explore the world for an inferior metal to make tools out of.
  7. I have actually made my own arrows from scratch in real life. It still depends massively on craftsmanship, but the shock on impact really is tremendous to the point where it can break at multiple points. The arrow tip is one (even metal arrowheads can fracture and flatten), the notch that it rests in can split and fracture the shaft like an axe head through a log and the fins can come off passing the bowstave. I'm actually surprised a projectile impacting so much energy is able to be recovered at all. Game balance is totally different and I understand, but for those who had questions, an arrow hitting something is much more violent than it can seem. Especially one homemade.
  8. This is a great idea. I was about to suggest it before seeing it already existed. The most abundant fertilizer you can possibly think of other than actual excrement (morally opposed to this ever being added) and it never shows itself. There should be far more byproducts for everything.
  9. It would make sense to have the ability to make pure zinc tools in place of copper. From what I understand, it has better material properties for a tool than copper does. This would go for nickel too, it would just help when you have an excess of it but not any use for it.
