Spawn Build Competition — Wild Horizons (1.22 RC2) We’re hosting a Spawn Build Competition to help shape the starting area for our upcoming long‑term 1.22 world. If you enjoy creative building, atmospheric design, or just want to leave your mark on the server, you’re invited to join in. What: A community competition to design our new spawn area. Where: A temporary 1.22.0‑rc.2 world with assigned plots and Creative Mode enabled. When: Starts tomorrow at 10 AM PST. Build window and world details will be posted once the event opens. With Vintage Story 1.22 stable on the horizon, we’re excited to announce our upcoming world: Where the Horizon Breaks, a place built for explorers, builders, and anyone looking for a home at the edge of the wild. This world will feature non‑vanilla terrain generation (Waiting for Terra Prety to update) with sweeping valleys, tall mountains, and plenty of room to roam. We’re starting with a medium mod load while the 1.22 ecosystem settles, and we’ll be expanding over time through public votes and community input on a regular cadence.
