Solution for transferring inventories: You cannot extract inventories easily because it's within the world/vcdbs file and would require hex editing knowledge. So just stuff your items into a pile of chests, copy it as a structure with world edit and paste it into the new world.

Me & my friends played a ton of vintage story around a year ago We want to update out world to enjoy all the new features that've been added but also keep our progress. (items) Is there a way we can cut and paste our inventories/profile data? Also - how do we increase the amount of lakes/rivers when creating a new world? we hated our world a lot because there was barely any lakes/rivers to enjoy the boats with.
