Hey there, Yesterday I finally got the materials needed to repair a translocator that was luckily not far from my house and whew.. my heart was racing when I stood in the green beams, what will I experience? Well, I was teleported into some deep cave and instantly my wheel of sanity starts spinning counterclockwise fast.. I had to go up a steep ledge and saw a door with monsters moving behind it.. Quickly I got the attention of other monsters and started running back to the portal as I was getting my ass beat... I luckily died on the portal as I was getting transported... I ran back naked as a jaybird to the translocator near my home and all my gear and inventory was still there... What gear should I have on before I try this again? I just have leather armor at the moment. Thanks

  4. Yes, the roof was made of smashed dirt and I had about 5 bowls with fat (lights) all near the ceiling keeping the coup lit
  5. Hey there, Just today I saw something moving inside my closed chicken coup... went over and found that I lost all my chickens to a pack of 3 wolves How can they get in without opening the gates? The whole chicken coup was closed in obviously so the chickens cant get out.. Bummer!! That hole in the upper left I had to make to shoot the wolves, I couldn't shoot them through the open gates, it would just close the gates
  6. Thanks Thorfin, I also was thinking that visible spawnpoints could be exploited, but I do see the problem Witchfire mentioned.. with fenced off areas getting spawns of bears etc.. Perhaps fenced areas could be considered no-spawn areas for dangerous mobs? fencing property is a fundamental way to claim property and to keep certain wild animals out, at least in the area around your home?
  7. Regarding Animal Spawns.. Wouldn't it be great if the dangerous animal spawns were actual viewable items or blocks that we could choose to destroy to remove them from that area? Bear Spawns could be some unique pile of bones and gore that can be destroyed and even have special drops when destroyed (from their past victims). Or for wolf and bear spawns we could at least "claim" their territory even if it involves a small boss battle.. so when destroying a bear or wolf spawn point, one or more of them appears in few moments and we have to kill him and use a special drop to destroy the bear spawn.. Same for wolves - or if we kill X amount of them, we can use a special drop of say, 5 wolf ears to destroy the spawn.. and 5 Bear Paws to do the same for bears? At least we would have to work for it... Not sure what to do for neutral creatures or less annoying ones.. But there should be a way for us to make them extinct in specific areas. Regarding Hunger... Yeah, I'd like to find a way to make it so instead of dying from going hungry within a day, we can be increasingly weakened unless we have some hearty meals to get our strength back up.. It's much better to make us weaker, cutting trees slower, shooting arrows less accurately.. running slower and mining slower while very hungry than to die so quickly. this aspect of the game could be more balanced.
  8. Hey there, I was dispatching some monsters after a temporal storm to clear them out, I killed two and started to harvest them with my knife. The first one dropped a temporal gear! Woot! It went right over to my off-hand, I celebrated and then I proceeded to harvest the second monster... To my astonishment I heard the sound of me being hurt, looked around and the second monster was not harvested and I quickly started looking for my temporal gear.. I guess I destroyed my temporal gear trying to harvest the second monster? Will it be possible to make it harder to destroy a temporal gear on accident while using your knife to harvest creatures? Thank you
  9. Hello, I'm over 100 hours into this addicting game and I sometimes see a new icon in the upper section, can anyone tell me what this is? The icon looks like squiggly circles above the X in the help screen Thank you
  10. I agree with this request, I've had to dive a bit deep a few times to harvest fish and other animals I was hunting too.
  11. Hi there! Vintage Story is awesome! I really enjoy it and I understand it is "early access" Here are a few requests / suggestions / observations 1. 12 Hour Time option - I would love to be able to change settings to 12 hour time, I just don't think in "Military Time" as we call it.. 2. We die from hunger a bit too fast - Please consider some system where if we are fattened up a bit we can "fast" for longer time without dying, but perhaps be weakened, and be slower but still have time to slowly get back home and eat. Takes many weeks to die of hunger IRL.. 3. Critters get stuck in block corners - I noticed that rabbits and other very small critters get stuck in corners trying to keep running forward.. Perhaps this is as designed? otherwise I'd probably never be successful at Rabbit hunting Thank you - hope it was OK to list a few things all in one post.
