I'm on a public server and my boyfriend just got an elk but the medallion seems to do nothing but add a flavor text and show it on the map. I can take off the medallion and put it on again to swap ownership as can other players on the server. This means that anyone can just come and steal it. They can also take off all the equipment on the elk. I thought that the medallion would not allow this? Kind of like how land claims work. We've talked with the server admins and couldn't figure out why this is happening. Is this how medallions are supposed to work? If so, it's not that safe >.>
