Well ... i now have 5
they just keep spawning in my game lol
Have you been travelling long distances?
Like, over 1000 blocks?
I suspect it may be happening in those situations.
Maybe I could make them fight each other until there was only 1 left.
He'd be pretty beat up after the fight, though.
What do you think of that idea? -
Version 1.0.33

Maybe? After the third that I've abandoned in a cave no more had come.
If you leave GW behind and travel far enough away so that his location is no longer on the world map, I think the count of GWs in the world drops to zero and there's a chance that a new one will spawn.

Oh dear.
Did you think his clones may be appearing in distant new chunks? -

I have found 2 of them lol I have the latest version of course, I had left one behind near a trader because I was running too fast, several days later one approached me near my base, I thought it was the same that found its way back, but when I got back to the aforementioned trader, the first GW i found ran back to me, now I got back to my base and the second also came in lol I guess I would fear nothing more in this playthrough ahahahah
Edit: 8 hours later, and maybe less than a week in game later.. Met the third GW Since I really, REALLY don't want a golden wolves army, I at least resorted in luring the third one into a deep cave and left it there. But at this point when I will complete my chalet, the forge, the windmill, the tannery and whatever else, I will have likely something like 20 wolves.. Is it possible that this is related to having turned on my mods in an already generated world? Also I modified the world to be smaller, 100k blocksWhat was the first version of GW that you installed on that world?

Was wondering if there a way to feed it, other than letting it just eat rabbits, or does it heal on its own/from creatures it kills?
He heals slowly over time. About 1 health point every 100 seconds or so.
I'm not sure yet if eating makes a difference to his healing. -
I'm working on a way to feed him, but it's a bit hit-or-miss and I can't get a sound to play while he eats.
I'm not sure how he heals, yet. Trying to find a way to display his health.
*edit* Okay, I know how to display his health, so I'll monitor it closely to see how he heals. -

He's drawn to the player and tends to hang out with you, but does his own thing a fair bit. He's still a wild creature at heart.
He sleeps a lot during the day.
Once, he was chasing drifters and got lost underground in a cave. I had to go searching for him.
He doesn't despawn like regular wolves.
There's only 1 Golden Wolf in the world, so look after him!I'm still tweaking his behaviour as I learn from playing with him.

Occasionally, in a dusty corner of a library, you may come across an explorer's journal or a letter by a settler, that mentions a rare Golden Wolf. They would describe a fanciful situation where this creature appears, almost out of thin air, and defends them against an attack by wolves or drifters.
The image below is of a very old photo that supposedly shows a Golden Wolf quietly resting beside a settler. It is widely regarded as a fake.

Hi,
I just bought the game but didn't get a Game Account email after purchase.
I tried the License Key in the Game Account section on your website, but, the Create New Game Account page rejected it.
