I understand the necessity of difficulty for the game. However, we should be able to just pick up small to medium animals such as baby animals, chickens, hares and small lambs.
To transfer them in between spaces or simply catching them for husbandry, it felt impractical that we couldn't just scoop a chicken off the ground and carry it to the coop.
There could also be more tiny mechanics such as generation 0(wild animals) would struggle and come off your hands quite easily so you have to catch it again, meanwhile the higher the generations, they become less hyperactive while being held.
