  3. New changes just came to the beta world! Please help me test this stuff out. Changelog: - Added a custom mod that allows you to be a hobbit! - Replaced Land and Group GUI with Guilds and Kingdoms Claims! This is super neat feature that allows you to claim chunks rather than going through the tedious command lines and often confusing claiming system. It is a simple GUI menu to create and manage claims and player groups. Hotkeys / controls: Press CTRL + L to open the Guild Management GUI. Create your guild/kingdom. Then press CTRL + L to open the menu again to see overview, invite players, view members, mange roles, view lands, start claiming, and change settings. Press P to toggle Nearby Land Claims — helpful when claiming near others. Hotkey conflict with Pickup Baby Animals. - Temporarily removed RPG Difficulty. Will be re-added in the later stages of the game. - Added more armor sets from the LOTR To Rule Them All. We now have Rohan, Misty Mountain Orcs, and Woodland Realm armor sets. - Added Dwarf and Elf weapons from Ignis Arsenal. - Added Pipeleaf for customizable smoking pipes. Gandalf was never seen without his! - Added Tree Tap Redux, a more in-depth way to harvest resin from trees. This simple mod adds a tree tapping item that will greatly increase the amount of resin you acquire from each leaking block. - Added Bed Regen! This one is cool. IF you are hurt, sleep in your bed. It will use up satiation to heal you. Does not require everyone to be sleeping for you to rest and heal back up. - Added Novelty! Now you have a reason to eat more variety of foods! You will have a nutrition bar that fills up based on the variety of food you eat. Natively this caps at 35% attack damage and 20% mining speed. When you die this bar goes down. So try not to die! - Added StickEmUp! This allows you to collect the sticks, vines and seeds when you chop down a tree. Natively nothing typically drops. So this is a great way to pickup all those sticks without having to sit there for 10 minutes hacking away at all the leaves first. - Added some bees so you can see them travel back and forth from the skep and the flowers they are gathering nectar from. - Re-added Carry On! This is a great way to allow you to move containers. Makes moving so much more bearable.   11. TKT Vintage Story Update to v1.21.5 is LIVE! Here’s a concise roundup of what’s new, what changed, and what you should do when joining. Headliners New Version: Server updated to Vintage Story v1.21.5. New Systems: GlooMeRaces + GlooMeClasses (fantasy races and about 17 classes). Combat Overhaul (hitboxes, parry/block, armor coverage, weapon changes). XSkills (open with G; set GUI Scale = 11 so the menu fits). PvP Consent Returns: Ana’s Flag of War — all PvP is opt-in only. Immersion Additions: Footprints (track animals and players), Real Smoke (build real chimneys; QP chiseled chimneys work), Tule Redone (reed baskets, rope, etc.). Worldgen Safety: You can now plant jungle saplings without breaking worldgen. Removed: Old Seraph race system (Seraph is considered Human now). PvP (Consent-Only) Three ways to fight—both sides must consent: /pvp on -> Flag yourself for FFA (90s cooldown before /pvp off) /pvp duel -> 1v1 duel /pvp battle -> Team battle by shared password Races & Classes (quick view) Dwarves: Smith, Miner, Mason, Oathkeeper Elves: Hunter, Homesteader, Alchemyst, Chef, Artisan Goblins: Malefactor, Alchemyst, Mystic, Clockmaker Humans: Commoner, Mason, Tailor, Merchant, Homesteader, Artisan Orcs: Blackguard, Lumberjack, Oathkeeper Each class has unique perks and drawbacks; trade and teamwork are encouraged. Combat Overhaul Real hit detection, parry/block, armor coverage, and weapon rebalances. Bows feel different (sway/drop); headshots matter; damage types matter. XSkills (progression) Press G to open the skills menu and set GUI Scale = 11 in Options. Gain XP by doing; spend points on abilities (mining, farming, combat, etc.). Real Smoke + Chiseled Chimneys Indoor fires and forges need ventilation or they’ll snuff out. Chimneys work (including QP chisel chimney blocks). Build flues and vents. Footprints Animals and players leave tracks on soft ground for several in-game hours. Great for hunting and tracking—can be disabled client-side if you prefer. Economy (reminder) Vinconomy + CAN Economy for shops and bank: /balance /deposit /withdraw Quick Commands /starterkit -> One-time starter pack /pvp on | off -> Opt-in/out PvP /pvp duel -> Duel /pvp battle -> Team battle /charsel -> Choose race and class /balance /deposit /withdraw -> Bank commands /home set To delete a home: /delhome name. /home will list all your homepoints. /home costs 2 rusty gears (taken from your inventory) and will teleport you to your home. TKT Vintage Story — Modpack Refresh (v1.21.1) Big fixes & QoL * SlowWalk is back and default walk speed = 100% (resolves the “stuck slo-mo” bug). * Live web map: map.tktcommunity.com * A few suggested mods were not added (outdated or recent bug reports on the mod DB). * Class/Race overhaul postponed. It needs backend work; Zork has offered to help when we’re ready. --- What’s new / newly enabled * Heraldry (Capes & Banners) – wearable capes and placeable banners for factions. * Equus Tack & Equipment – more horse gear options. * BloodTrail – light blood tracking (hunting & combat). * Hand-to-Hand – ability to hand people items you are carrying hotkey R (handy for RP). * Manual Quenching – manual quenching during smithing. * Quicklime in Kiln – alternative lime workflow. * RealSmoke – more believable chimney/smoke behavior. * WebCartographer + Color Exporter – powers our online map pipeline.
