  1. Hello fellow survivors, I have a dream .. okay more like some thoughts concerning the game which would, in my opinion, make the game even better but I'd like to hear your opinions on these ideas. Or rather this idea because I'm really not a fan of puting multiple ideas into one thread. My idea was to move the game one step further from the crafting grid. Seeing as this is one of the goals on the roadmap for VS I thought this might even be a possibility that the devs already thought about. Crafting tools is placing a stick into the crafting grid and putting whatever head you want your tool to have right above it. Very basic. Not very true to the realism aspect of the game. Imagine this. Having a stick in one hand and the toolhead in the other and then simply [ctrl]+[rightclick] to assemble the tool. This would be a little more immersive and still would be a simple way of crafting the tools. My second Idea was concerning the tools themself. What if your simple stone-axe-stick combination could fall apart while working with it. Seeing as putting a rock into a stick is not a really good way to produce a tool that lasts long. This is somewhat picked up by the game making the tools very ... not durable. But a stone doesn't simply break and vanish when digging dirt with it or trying to fell a tree. Most likely the rock would break away from the stick or the stick would snap. This could be worked into the game aswell. If the game decides to give you some bad luck the tool breaks apart and the stick will break. "But this would be annoying!" I hear you yell at me. Yes. Yes it would. But you could secure your tools. Having a sticks and stones tool in your hand and then having a rope in the other hand then combining both the same way you crafted the tool in the first place would wrap the rope around the toolhead giving it stability. Making it somewhat 100% safe to use without breaking. Why not make it completely safe? I think the stick could still break as it is just a stick picked up somewhere in the woods. Well crafted tools have handles carved from wood. With these handles the tools should simply endure much more. Using a knife on a wooden board would craft a handle. Metal tools could be crafted only with these handles as sticks would simply not endure the force that can be applied with the tool. Securing the toolhead on the handle would need a wooden or metal wedge. But handles could server us another way. Making tools easier to use and reduce the strain on the body. That way tools with handles should take less saturation from a play when used while tools from poor quality would use up more. Thanks for reading. Please tell me your opinions!
  2. Well yea it is similar but I would like to have it not be bound to a key but instead be bound to a text-command.
  3. Adding the possibillity to make shortcuts or aliases for Clientside messages would be awesome. Have a command /alias $OneWordForTheAliasName "A string of words for the command". Like "/alias MyAlias /say I could put in here whatever I want! Then if the alias is used with a prefix-sign (like # or something) eg. /#MyAlias The output would be send directly to the chat. Like: /say I could put in here whatever I want! That would open up so many possibilities and it would be great. I don't know if this was already requested at some point but I want it. Greetings
  4. When drinking from a stack of jugs (only tried it with 2) filled with any juice the jugs won't loose liquid thus being able to have infinite food with just two stacked jugs and 6l of juice. Jugs in general are rather buggy. Will be testing a lot with them.
