I started making content mods for VS a couple months ago after having played the game for quite some time. Maneuvering through .json and .cs files for making content mods has been doable for me, and I am starting to get the hang of it more and more.
However; there are quite a few ideas I have outside of the mods I am working on right now that would require me to create code for them. I am able to structure the types of content and processes that such a mod requires well enough; but I do not know C#, and I don't have much time to devote to learning it.
I would very much like to work on these ideas, as I think they would make great additions to the compendium of of VS mods available. I know that when it comes to working with the actual content parts, that I can do it. But its the coding and scripting which I really need help with. Either in the form of assistance or a relatively easy tutorial on coding C# for VS specifically. (I have searched everywhere online for tutorials and guides; there are quite a lot of good resources available- but not having the skills to code and integrate those resources makes it difficult.)
I have tried going through services on sites like Fiver to see if there is anyone out there that offers coding/scripting services. But I have yet to find one that does so for VS modding.
Does anyone here know of websites or services where those skilled in programming VS code mods offer their services? Is anyone, well versed in coding, interested in working on a cool project together?
*as a side note: Another question I had was in regards to seeing if anyone here knows of different methods through which the modding process can be streamlined? I saw a post on the forums a while back about someone using AI to help them generate code, and I have also looked into the different AI tools on the development kit I'm using in Visual Studios. If there are other forms of assistance like that available, for code mods or just for content mods, then I'd certainly like to find out and take advantage of them! Even if such a method like an AI tool only helped the content-making process, that would help me out a lot , because it is time consuming making large amounts of content and weaving it all together in the .json files.
