Beginner with dedicated servers , need help customising world

cool settings!(will use) , but how do i put them onto the server. like in single player there's the customise button and you can adjust it but how to do on the dedicated server ? im sorry if the answer is obvious but im not very good with the terminal thing that the server uses. -
hello. iam trying to make a world with some oceans/large lakes and have it run on the dedicated server, so my friends can play on it together with me is there somewhere i can type or copy over world settings. just something like "landcover 50%"
