  1. Hello friends. I would like to request a feature to separate the clouds and weather render distance from the standard world chunk render distance. By default, vanilla clouds in Vintage story feel much too close to the surface, which hurts the sense of scale in the world. there are mods such as "higher clouds" that can raise the clouds altitude about 200 meters higher, However raising the clouds reveals a limitation: they cut off, and do not reach the horizon because they are bound by the worlds's render distance. and i know the mod can just be turned off but then the same problem from before happens the clouds are too close to the surface. Also this could increase performance for the player so they can turn down the chunk render distance but can have higher clouds and still have a better immersion experience. A method could also be made to give modders an easier time making this system. Thanks for reading this message! The bottom images show case what the issue is.
  2. I suggest restructuring the main menu slightly, and I'm talking about the Mod Manager, its name could be changed to Workshop&Mod hub, to include all the features in one place, and move the Mod Manager to the new Workshop&Mod hub, where you have access to a Mod Browser and The Mod Manager, as well as a create/publish mods tab, to make it easier to create/publish mods. ------------------------------------------- Here is how it could be changed, ------------------------------------------- Singleplayer Multiplayer Settings Workshop & Mod Hub Credits Quit ------------------------------------------- here is one with the tab open ------------------------------------------- Singleplayer Multiplayer Settings "Workshop & Mod Hub" Tab, "(Mod Browser, Mod Manager, Create Credits Quit ------------------------------------------- and if somebody notice that it kinda Look likes Tmodloader's System From Terraria then yes, i feel like Tmodloader's System is easy to navigate, so taking inspiration from its Systems could help improving usability. Also if somebody find an issues about this post, i will gladly hear about any of the feedback.
