Really wish this was updated for the latest version. Pre-buying the game I, for some reason, deluded myself into thinking that the base game had an in-between setting where upon death you would drop all of your items except your armor, which made sense to me as this game can be particularly brutal and armor takes a long time to make, on top of actually getting your stuff back being more difficult without armor.
