Hi, been having a bit of an issue with singleplayer performance in 1.22.6 (modded, though the issue also occurs as badly in vanilla). Only ran into this after my previous SATA SSD got corrupted and I ended up reinstalling Windows (and Vintage Story) on a new NVME SSD. Every so often during gameplay, I'll experience micro-stutters and at this point it's giving me a headache. No graphics settings seem to make a difference, neither in-game or in Nvidia Control Panel. Potentially narrowed down the stuttering to these recurrent 40ms+ ticks after running .debug logticks. My hardware and OS settings as follows:
- Windows 10 Home (x64, ESU)
- Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti
- Intel i5 10400F
- 2x 8GB Corsair DDR4 RAM
- MSI B560M PRO-E Motherboard
- T-FORCE G50 NVME SSD
Also included the client and server logs, the tick in question should be at the end, "call: sleep" and seems to be the main tick causing stuttering during gameplay, though I do also notice "call: end".
Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than me can work this out, it's been driving me mad trying to get this wonderful game working again. Cheers!
