I agree with you. In the Old Times boss battles were the skill check to ensure you perfected the new gameplay elements introduced in the level. This is a different kind of game though and while it isn't "fun" or "good design", I suppose it should be expected in Vintage Story.

Yes, extremely misleading. Could not get the game to work on my linux machine for the same .NET compatibility reasons, and barely works on my Win11 WoA device. Why even bother migrating to .NET 8 if they plan to upgrade soon enough anyway? Sorry about your bad experience, I sincerely hope they grant you a refund should you wish. Kind of a snoozefest considering the timeframe. Lol'd at the fix for crashing on right clicking empty pot with empty bowl. Don't want to sound like I'm some expert but it's funny to see what sounds like null reference errors when Tyron presents so pompously.
