    Thank you for the reply - I appreciate your take on the matter. I guess I wasn't too concerned and assume there are some plans to move to ARM64 builds.

    Apple is moving away from supporting Intel-based apps in the near future. https://support.apple.com/en-by/102527 I love VS and Macs - so I am hoping that a Native MacOS app is in the works. I have started seeing the warning on my Mac when I open VS and research suggests that Intel-based app support will be dropped by MacOS 28 (so about two years).
