  1. the amount of fat used in real world pemmican is 1:1 by weight, meat:tallow. the meat is first dried, then ground, then mixed with melted fat. left to cool and harden. you can add basically whatever to that so long as it contains no water. dried fruits, and grains. though if you add grains its less pemmican and more a weird bread. No, olive oil is only used for oil lamps and linseed oil has no use. :< in the real world i know you can use a whole host of thing to treat hides, egg yoke, plant oil, fish oil. you name it. the actual important part of furs and hides is working them after curing so the hides stay pliable when dry. furs are still often smoked as part of the preservation process.
  2. my many thanks professor, though i not on principle opposed to artistic arctic impermanence. I am still greatly relieved to hear i may continue to celebrate christmas in July. kind regards - smelly345
  3. I made a snow man, made of snow of course. with some bauxite and slate for flavor. will he die? Do i need to pack him up in the spring? will he be reduced to slush and sorrow in the rain? should i give him a top hat? i have no reason to believe the developers of this game would be so cruel as to allow the weather to murder an innocent snow man. how ever the lack of information on wiki of chiseled snow has me ill at ease. an expedient answer would be most appreciated as there is a great deal at stake. sincerely yours - Smelly345
  4. I find all the clay and smithing voxel indicator presets are hard to see in different ways. I want to be able to pick my own colors for it. It would also be nice if you could set presets depending on what you're doing. For example: i find the default option hard to see when refining iron blooms and dealing with hot cold metals, but i prefer it when doing clay forming. so i often find myself hopping over to the accessibly options to change the preset in the middle of the smithing minigame or knaping or whatever. Edit: It's option 2 i find hard to see with hot metals, default is hard to see with cold/dark metals, i don't know how i messed that up.
