Having quarried rocks detach based on a single face makes some building impossible.  If I want a single rock on the side of another block it will automatically pop off.  Other methods of quarrying would be more effective as @ArtiKs mentioned.

No one suggested this because this would truly break the game.

I think implementing this feature would be great and increase stone yield realistically without making it too easy.

  2. Thanks for the quick reply, but I saw this video already. He just shows a template for a cellar corridor and calls it a day. If i go ingame and build a cellar with corridor somewhat similar to his idea, it does not work.

Has anybody here an active, actually working blue-cheese cellar? I would just like to see it work for once.

  3. Hello, just a quick question:

How do you even create blue cheese? No guide, no info I can find does lead to the creation of blue cheese. I tried for hours in creative, I either recieve cheddar, or i get rot.

Is blue cheese even possible in the current build? And if so, please just show me one possible way / cellar setup. I think i could take it from there.

  4. So is the min temp meant as the regions average temperature? Or the present as-is?

How are the stats of the other animals? I would like to take a look at the data list. The wiki has only out of date info.

thanks dakko for the quick info btw

  5. Hey,

I have been playing on my world for one whole year. Its a cold spawn point, but there are plenty of goat, chickens, wolves, bears and fish.

How come there are zero wild pigs? How warm does it have to be? Or are there other reasons why i didn't encounter pigs?

    /worldconfig foodSpoilSpeed 0

Although I'm not sure if 0 is a valid value here. Some of these worldconfigs have minimum lower limits, you'll have to experiment. The closer to 0 you can set it, the slower food will spoil.

After you enter this command, exit to main menu and reload your world, then enter the command again without a number to let it print the currently active value. If you entered something invalid (for example if it doesn't like 0) it will likely display the default value of 1. Then you can try something else, like 0.1.

Foodspoilspeed 0 reverts back to 1m as you predicted. But 0.1 works, and so does 0.001 and so on. Thanks!

I guess with the Cheese spoiling in 971629,7 years it should work :D

  7. Hey,

since no one seems to know more about this, i tried some variations in my meal making to test the labels.

The only other crock label I could find, was combing meat with only meat. Then you get a red-meatsoup label.

But even a Mushroom only soup got the (water - m - m - m) got the red-grean mela label.

    1: Meal  2: Meat only  3: ?  4: ? ...

  8. I noticed that crocks have different labels since some recent patch (Trailer Video), but somehow all my crockpots are still this green red dish symbol. How do you change the label or what do you have to put into the crock so the label changes?

    How many labels are there?

Brass is not a tool metal - it's too soft to make a pickaxe or a sword out of it. So the game does not allow you to pour it into tool molds. Items like "brass pickaxe head" and such do not even exist.

Brass is sturdier than copper, and the only reason you can't make tools out of it in the game despite being able to do so with copper, is because the devs did not implement it.

Brass tools have no history, but they could be used and would be better than copper tools. I just wanted to make that clear, even if the post just originated because the OP confused bronze with brass.
