This is exactly what I want. Im not asking for the whole ingot, but to lose all of that work because of an initial 5% chance of shattering is not only disappointing, but extremely frustrating.

Mostly the problem I have with it is that even if the work item shatters, you should get at least some percentage of metal back. Matter cannot be destroyed entirely, and it is so very frustrating that when it's a 10% to break, it breaks anyways.
