that's what we ended up doing in the end now a good question would be how to export worlds and share them with the friend but ill research that myself or just create a separate thing for that

i will explain what i have already tried on my system and what i cannot do on my friends system On my system and router i attempted to port forward the game port 42420 (including allowing it through my firewall) which did not work it still says that a UPnP device was not detected as on my friends system it in theory works (the game says that it succeeded) but since i cannot connect and we cannot setup port forwarding in their machine i cant be sure if it actually worked on their end

currently i cant seem to figure out what i need to host the game on my side (ad-hoc) as it seems to be incompatible with my router (at least in my opinion), but my friend can host the game just fine and i cant seem to be able to join them (connection just times out) is there anything i need to setup on my side to join my friend or is it just straight up incompatible? (would like to know soon as the friend just bought the game to play together)

Honestly Would Love This In The Game Would Love To Actually Figure Out If I Could Mod This Into The Base Game But It Will Most Likely Take A While Before I Get An Idea Of How Modding Works
