just picked up a full stack of glacier ice from a mountain and was wondering if it helps with cellars

I only ever had enough copper for a pickaxe and just barely enough to make a hammer to break chunks down and there's basically no copper nuggets in my area so what do I do?

here's my cellar, it doesn't preserve meat well, but vegetables and fruits do good, and it normally 20-23C outside

so, I'm a little confused with how you make the fire to heat up a crucible if anyone could help me that'd be great

been trying to make a cellar but it doesn't really work that great, either it's the stone I'm using or it's how I'm building it (most likely how I'm building it) I'm pretty new still so idk much of nothing
