Thanks for replying! I didn't get a response for the first couple days and then forgot to check back after that. But I actually did end up going w the cheapest option (3 GB) and it's working just fine so far! Maybe in the future once we've explored and built more I'll have to upgrade to 6, but I'll stick w 3 for as long as I can. Good to hear that the storage should be adequate in the long run.

Hello there! Newbies here, looking for some help and opinions from more experienced players. My friend and I are looking into playing together, but are currently struggling. We're not tech-savvy (and have other external factors), so our attempts to establish LAN connection didn't pan out. Now we're looking into servers, but the process of self-hosting a server sounds rather intimidating. Any chance someone can help us with that, or with finding a good provider that'd allow us to run older versions of the game with mods? We did look into the list of providers, but the numbers there don't really tell us much. For example, Something Unique Hosting has the cheapest version that nets 3GB Ram and 100GB NVMe Storage. But how does that translate into regular gameplay? Would it be enough to sustain 2-4 players? Or would it implode if we try to explore the edges of the world? Would really love some guidance, thank you!
