It can take up to a day or more, iirc. I expect a few hours. Edit: The update on Friday did seem to actually come out on Friday. So prospects are good, maybe Flathub is the limiting factor. (i use nobara btw)

Personally, I like to make little shrines on occasion. Sometimes based on IRL religions (my own Christian faith, Zoroastrianism, or maybe others if playing with friends of other faiths) or an invented one based on the game lore. I think little hints are good, like the ruins of temples/churches.
