Still kinda new to the game and just found this one yesterday. Not sure if Traders are random but that's the first treasure trader I've ever seen. Super clean flat area around him as well. Huge chalk biome to the south, resin there to the north. I'm using better ruins and there's a nice little starter house (infested with -redacted-) on the shore of the lake east of the trader.
