Hi, on our private server we tried to capture some chickens with wicker basket traps, but after many, many days of checking, nothing. We sat and watched as the hens pecked around and looked like they were bouncing off the traps; they never entered the trap, never took the flax grain.
So we switched to creative mode, spawned a few hens and a couple of roosters in our pen, and tried that way. (switched back to survival right after)
They never eat the grain; they never lay eggs.
They run around like lunatics if we get close, and the cockerels do their doodle-oo thing, but that's all.
Are we doing something wrong?
