Closing in on the second winter of the SMP my brothers play on! This is the farthest I have gotten into a single world so far. Its honestly hard to put this game down once you have something planned.

One time, I wanted to harvest all of the berries from the fruit vineyard, so I waited at least 7 in-game days for them to finish flowering. With so much downtime on my hands, I dug some paths, finished chiseling on the stone bridge, terraformed, and built the village windmill. I also planted and harvested my brother's fields, twice! Between the harvests and all the berries, I feel like winter will be a breeze this time around!

I absolutely love watching this little village grow. Comparing it now to how it was last August (In-game) is as different as night and day. The only thing here originally was the packed dirt citadel! The place has a nice colonial theme coming along, though the oldest brother will be building a Roman-esque villa! (I am sitting on it in this picture)

How to play: Door Roulette

A little game me and my friends invented to pass the time until we get an Omok table. The rules are simple: Get two players, each with a Crude Door, have both of them open and close their respective doors at the same time until one of them breaks. The last door standing wins. 

My personal favorite way to play is to bet on the outcome. So far the biggest bet was 50 liters of my wine in exchange for the server's first copper Lamellae chest piece being made by one of my brothers (I lost D:).

Suggestion: Wine dilution

As I've been learning the basics of this game, I managed to stockpile about 50 liters of various wines for me and my friends. However, drinking so much as a liter of the stuff begins to make you drunk, which can get annoying fast. I think it would be nice if we could somehow dilute the wine with water to mitigate this issue.

First week of having Vintage Story and it's been a blast! Bought it Thursday, played for around 10-15 hours on a singleplayer world, and have since played another 10+ hours on a server with my siblings! I definitely won't be playing THAT much in such a short ever time again lol, but suffice to say I've been having a lot of fun.

So far, this game has been quite refreshing for me. Me and my siblings have been trying to find something we can all play together, and up until recently our only option was Team Fortress 2. A fun game for sure, but it was also our last resort option to play if you know what I mean. We used to play a ton of Minecraft, but the lack of difficulty on survival mode made it quite boring for me eventually. But with all of us buying Vintage Story, hopefully that means we have all finally found something for us so we can keep hanging out. Can't wait to see what the future holds!
