my game files are just straight up missing textures for clothes????

i made custom changes that i spent about 4 - 10 hours on so id really, reallly rather not do that unless i just replace the files (something im already doing)

It seems that after a quick file dive that some of my mods have had the clothing textures deleted somehow

it seems that only my coats have been affected! that is a massive relief

almost there, i have titanium (not mined, just sourced) and bauxite and olivine. Im just limited by not having a windmill to pulverize the olivine and bauxite (im almost there, just need like 20 billion more flax)

project zomboid has a mod called transmogifer (i think) that just does this basically. I KNOW ITS POSSIBLE!

i just want to wear the black bronze armor with the benefits of steel / iron IT LOOKS SO FUCKIN COOL maybe have some kind of temporal visual thing, where you can use a temporal gear on steel chainmail or something, and make it LOOK like black bronze plate armor using temporal illusions or something. Now that would be awesome, totally not in the scope of what would be vanilla though. Maybe it would work better as a mod (the armor you wear would have the stats of the steel chainmail, meanwhile it looks absolutely amazing)

GUYS PLEASE I AM GOING TO MAKE A NEW BASE ELSEWHERE, I AM LIVING IN A HALF FORGE HALF DIRTED UP COMPOUND THAT DOESN'T WORK HALF THE TIME! also it is not a ruin, i made it myself. i like base building, but i just needed a base, and then i stocked up loot, then it became winter, and now here i am. stuck like 30% of the way through winter because i really hate grind of waiting. (i have 3 backpacks now)

in spring i go explore and EXPAND AND FIND NEW THINGS! in summer i like to do the same thing, maybe hunt a little in fall i start to worry about food, and everything related to winter in winter i rot indoors until im either hungry or i think of something to do (just like real life! wow, so immersive!) i want to find a suitable place for a main base, but i can't find a proper place that isn't infested with bears / in an unstable zone. And it also looking really nice while also being somewhat close to base to stop me from dying (irl from boredom) of transferring loot i think this is where my luck dries out here..

it is a default that you cannot change (in my hour of testing, may be possible and im just a belland) anyways, i settled on a thing that looks fine and bypasses this weird thing. sorry to anyone with the same issues

just found out that the default UV EDITOR IN THE VS EDITOR IS JUST WHITE. it is just somehow defaulting to that, and i need to change that

i am editing a player model to change the size of the tail, but its textures are just.. Completely white? I have changed the texture files to actually match the space needed, but its just breaks? i am using the VS editor for this, so maybe there's something off there thanks for any help!
