This may seem like a small thing for the non developers out there, but being able to have 1.22 RC installed alongside a different version of the game and having it break nothing, with redirectable datapaths for save and mod data is a really huge QoL feature that I wish was industry standard. It is not an extremely difficult thing to implement from my experience, but doing so at all, proves that it was not just a "nice to have" but an intention by the development team.
This kind of under the radar consideration really makes me proud to have supported the game because it shows that the team is thinking about things in a way that proves they have a good understanding of common pain points from average users and "power users" both.
Thank you developers for considering this kind of flexibility. It means a great deal to me as a developer myself and I am really glad the first post I get to make on your forum was one motivated by gratitude for your commitment to your customers.
