Sable Posted March 23, 2023 Report Posted March 23, 2023 So I see the post about how to install mods for a windows server, but I'm not sure how to go about getting mods added to a VS hosted server. Is there a way to do it through the game client itself? Thanks!

I use Bisect Hosting so the web interface may be different, but what I do is to stop the server first, go to their File Manager, then go to the 'data' folder, then the 'mods' folder, and upload the mod's .zip file. Sable Posted March 24, 2023 Author Report Posted March 24, 2023 Thanks for sharing LJim, it doesn't look like I have any kind of web portal access for my server beyond what I can see in my game client (photos attached), so I'm not sure if I can even install mods here?

They actually did a special install of Vintage Story for me as they had not had hosting for it previously, so you might still be able to do that! We ended up on a box through OVH because we liked what they had to offer a bit more, but that's only if you're looking for a windows/linux back-end and not a web console. Happy hosting!
