How to Change Geological Hammer Settings

created the world and forgot to adjust the geological hammer. 
is it possible to change this setting?

In game, hit TAB to get the chatbox up, type

/worldConfig propickNodeSearchRadius [0-12]

(4, 6, 8 are the most common numbers), it's documented at https://wiki.vintagestory.at/index.php/World_Configuration

...and then restart the server (the game, if you're doing single-player).
