PREMISE: The Commonwealth of Vetus, a continent-scale nation that unified the entire known world, is seeking to expand its sights to a new frontier. After years of research and mobilizing all the scientific knowledge from their Golden Age of Enlightenment, they managed to find a new land: The Wildlands. Your character enrolled to be one of the settlers to colonize this new land and form a thriving town. However, this new land is not without its challenges and mysteries... Here is a small update from our Discord: The first 3 months of The Expansion have been full of events. We welcomed so many new players, formed friendships, and wrote interesting stories as well as started unraveling the secrets of the Wildlands. There has been a slowdown on the server the last few weeks, but fear not! It’s far from the end for The Expansion. It's only just beginning! After seeing how the server is running, we realized some things were not optimal and we want to improve things before getting any further. That’s why we have decided to temporarily close the server to make those improvements as well as allow staff to breathe a little. This will take a couple of weeks and during that time submissions are closed. We will let you know once the submissions are open again! In the meantime, this is a great chance to join and check out our unique lore, talk about your ideas for your character, and get to know the community and people behind this amazing project. Since we will do a map reset as well this is the perfect chance to be amongst the first colonists of The 2nd Expedition into the Wildlands! We are looking forward to seeing you!

Do you have room for a mature player with a little VS experience mainly in the cooking area as I am a bit wimpy when it comes to killing those terrible creatures we are all inflicted with. While we don’t have exact dates just yet, we're using the upcoming weeks to prepare for a fresh start. Here’s what you can expect: • We'll be reviewing and possibly updating server rules and whitelisting • We’ll add more resources like roleplay-guides and lore regions – perhaps also expand on old ones. • During this downtime, we’ll also update the server to the newest version of Vintage Story (when it releases) and update our mods. Suggestions are always welcome! • There will also be occasional community votes to gather your feedback. • For Season 3, we’ll be working on a roadmap to ensure more structured story events, with one big story event each month to drive settlement narratives forward. There will also be a new map and an all-new settlement to build. If you are looking for a fresh start to an immersive Roleplay experience, this is the place to be! 1

Hey everyone, We’re thrilled to share some exciting updates regarding Season 3 of The Expansion! Here's everything you need to know so far: Setting & Lore Updates • Some existing lore regions are being revamped. • We’re introducing an entirely new lore region, which will be revealed before the whitelist launch. Stay tuned! • A timeline has been added to “the setting” for more context of our Seasons. • Season 3 will take place 20 years after the end of Season 2 Whitelist Opening on December 20th • The whitelist will officially open on December 20th. • A small guide for recipes, tools and resources every character can use will be published before the whitelist opens! First Arrival Event The server will reopen with our first arrival event, which will happen in early January. More details will follow closer to the date. Map/Seed and Mods • The map/seed has been chosen! • The mod list is nearly finalized after considering all suggestions. We can’t wait to see how your stories unfold this time. Teewi Posted March 5 Report Posted March 5 ── ⋅ ✵ PROGRESS AND MORE PROGRESS It's been some months, and slowly but surely, the settlement has started to thrive. Celebrations have been held, supplies have been gathered, and so much more. In the wake of the Summer Supply Sweep, three intrepid members of the settlement set out in search of a zinc reading upon the isle, which positioned them on an island. Through Koa's careful prospecting, and both Axelle and Sygritte's assistance, they were able to fortify the island and establish the beginnings of a zinc mine! More arrivals pour in, and shortly after their travels through the translocator, some more crates arrive, with supplies requested by the Governess, Philomena, to be collected at her office for those who requested individual items. But thanks to the thoughtfulness of one, the inn is now stocked with a small supply of parchment and envelopes! What more will be done in the coming months? And what tales will be told?
