Raysandra Rexxia Posted August 8 Report Share Posted August 8 I'm thinking like the board game "Alchemists," which has these mechanics: • Each ingredient has its own "compound" which is made up of colored elements. • Each of those elements has a + or - sign, as well as a size (large or small). • To make a potion: You must match X amount of ingredients with proper signage and sizes. As far as Vintage Story goes: You can have each plant / whatever ingredient have a compound based on map seed. You can expand this system to accommodate more ingredients than the board game did (it had 8 total). I highly recommend to at least watch a review video of the board game to see what I mean.
