Can player idle animations be disabled or player model hidden?

As the title says, is there a way to disable the player idle animations?
If possible, only for first person view, but if it can't be separate from the world model, then in general?

Due to how the new animations mirroring the player model, I've found it to take me out of the game when the player character suddenly acts without input.
It feels more like puppeteering an NPC or watching the world through someone else's eyes rather than "me" being in the game.
