Richtiger Feger Posted August 6, 2024 Report Posted August 6, 2024 Had this happen to me twice now. My items despawn even though I went back to my deathpoint immediately. Am I missing something? Do I need to kill what killed me? A deer killed me. It is really frustrating to constantly lose your stuff. I play mostly vanilla with just animal cages, hud clocks, carry on, workbench expansion and visible high fertility. How can I at least cheat the items back?
Solution Thorfinn Posted August 6, 2024 Solution Report Posted August 6, 2024 It should give you ten minutes before anything despawns. When you set up your game, set the death penalty to don't drop items. You can go into creative and get your stuff back. Just throw it on the ground and pick it up when you switch back to survival.
Richtiger Feger Posted August 7, 2024 Author Report Posted August 7, 2024 That's what I did. The second time this happened I died near to my base and it didn't even take a minute to go back. Stuff despawned. There was a spear in the ground, maybe that might have something to do with it? I'm not sure.
