I see some animal behaviour balancing is coming in new patch, that is them starting to actually run off while getting hit from far away. While it's really good to add that, without rebalancing hunting, it's starting to become almost impossible. Running after them in the thicket of the forest or even on plains proposes a lot of troubles, and makes hunting overall a lot less worth the hassle. I come with couple ideas to help fix that:

-Add mechanic in which animals speed gets more impaired with the amount of the damage they take;
-Add a chance of animal getting DOT from bleeding out on getting hit;

Considering both or just one of the changes would make the game better in my opinion.
