what to do with sand??? perhaps a mod??

hello all!! noobie here. i know there are blocks you can make with sand, mud bricks i think. And of course sifting. but is there anything else you can do with sand like glass or something?? or a mod that does something with it or is it "to the depths of the ocean" for sand.

Yes, you can make glass.

Try looking sand up in the handbook. It lists both its sources and its uses.

You can't make glass out of sand in VS, only quartz as far as I know.

Maybe you forgot you've got a mod?

Sand is used for mortar and panning, that's about it.

You can hover over any item and press h to bring up uses for it.
I personally like plaster.

yes i know about the handbook i guess i was wondering if there was a mod out there like the one for thatch. thanks for the input all
