Vileace Posted November 30, 2024 Report Posted November 30, 2024 I promise, I did search the forum to see if my suggestions had been suggested previously to try to limit duplicates. I would love to be able to drag a "page" out of the handbook and be able to keep it on screen, while keeping the handbook open to look up other pages. Alternatively, Include a Handbook Tab that a shows a history of the pages visited and the order visited to easily return to a previous page. Second alternative would be a bookmarks tab to the handbook, which I did see recommended before. 2

I've also seen several requests for the handbook to stay on the last page you visited that session, so that you can quickly reference certain information without having to flip back to that page every time you open the handbook. 1 hour ago, Vileace said: I would love to be able to drag a "page" out of the handbook and be able to keep it on screen, while keeping the handbook open to look up other pages. I'm not sure about this one. While I'm not really against players cluttering their screen as much as they want, I feel like this particular scenario would already be covered with the ability to bookmark pages. You can easily flip between pages with the bookmarks, while still retaining most of your visibility to see any incoming threats. Now that I think about it...I'm not sure how a mechanic like this would work given that time is paused by default while the handbook is open. I would presume that time ignores the pause rule when you have a page pulled out but the handbook itself is closed. 1
Vileace Posted November 30, 2024 Author Report Posted November 30, 2024 A page that is dragged out would not have the pause option and the game would not pause unless the handbook is open again. As a new user I am just spending tons of time in the handbook and not "really" playing. I know over time I will learn, and not need this but as a new player it would be helpful.
