Hi, I wanted to ask about the fire mechanics in Vintage Story. It seems that sometimes players join a server and start fires just for fun, and these fires can quickly spread, causing significant damage to forests and sometimes even to houses.

I was wondering if it would be possible to disable fire for specific blocks, such as grass and leaves, or perhaps limit how much fire can spread. Many players seem to exploit this mechanic for griefing, creating massive infernos across the server.

That should be doable. Have a look at combustibleProps(byType). Patching would take care of maintaining and delivering the changes.

thats in server settings?

No.Those are individual block settings. Those of tallgrass (which is the internal name of grass) and fern, to be precise, just as example.
