Save custom playstyle in a profile

It would be nice if we could save the playstyle we customized in world creation so we could share with eachother and tinker with world creation.
This would be amazing even if achivable just even with modding.

I dunno if someone else already suggested it, if so, sorry.

You can. It's just not obvious. Click on the Edit button of the world whose settings you like, then click on the lower Clipboard. Something like Copy playstyle and world settings

Thanks, that got me 50% of what i wanted, but i would like to paste it into the world creation so i can reuse this settings so i won't have to configure manually when testing world generations and save it on a list like the presets the game have in "Select a playstyle" in world creation, there's any way i can do it?

Yeah, I know it's a little clunky. I requested the same exact thing several years ago.

I looked into it briefly back then and decided it wasn't worth the effort. Maybe I'll take another look. It's possible the coding changed enough to make it reasonable. Though I kind of doubt it. Lots of other people requested the same feature, too, and there's no such mod yet. That I'm aware of.

I poked around on the repo, and I don't think I'm going to find it. Even though I know the names of some of the things I'm looking for, they are not popping up in a search, and opening code with vaguely promising sounding names isn't getting me anywhere, either. Meshes with what others have said about their efforts to modify the launcher menus.

You can just open custom settings and press ctrl + v to paste the clipboard with all the settings thats all

Edit: It's an old thing in the game prob i remember doing that in 1.16.5 when i first started playing idk how i found it... or maybe a lil later but still i remember it few years ago

That's not really what i wanted, i wanted do APPLY a custom playstyle without having to set up manually every time i generate a new world, if you can export why can't you import and save as a new playstyle? This would be a good feature to have.

I just found that there is one mod for "custom playstyles" sadly from what i have found it only allows to add just one playstyle and for current game version i dont think u can change name of it, but u can change how the playstyle is set and it will be this way forever

edit: u basicly do firstly the same as before copy the settings and u paste into the file that mod provides you and thats it u can click on it like every other playstyle
