Does Roofing count for solid blocks for a room?

I'm trying to get a room bonus on my house, but the room keeps coming up red in the debug menu.  It's fully enclosed with roof tiles, walls, doors, etc., but it's not recognized.  Idk what I'm doing wrong.

From what i recall ~ no you need something under the Rooftiles (i used to use stairs) or have a ceiling
