McFrugal Posted February 8, 2025 Report Posted February 8, 2025 There's no way to reduce enemy HP, and no way to reduce enemy spawn rate, so now that there are like 50% more monsters spawning (thanks to bowtorn and shivers not being affected by the drifter spawn limits) combat has become a slog. A super deadly slog if you're in a position where you can't use the new enemies' vulnerabilities against them, and haven't reduced enemy damage output.
Thorfinn Posted February 8, 2025 Report Posted February 8, 2025 IME, it wasn't the spawn rates or the foes themselves. It was that strategies and tactics developed for drifters no longer work very well, and I had to develop others.

Trying to convince my partner to play VS, but she is not very experienced in gaming in general - but VS got her curious BUT the moment monsters started spawning with crazy amounts around our hut, she got really discouraged. Really wish there would be some way to adjust spawn rates, hp and/or damage scaling
