Copy/Paste text

The ability to copy/paste text (ie. from notepad, internet browser, etc.) would be really nice. Maybe there is a way and I'm just too smooth brain/new to the game.
if you know how to do so, even if it requires a mod, PLEASE let me know .

I too am looking for a way to copy a few chat lines in the chat. 

pasting is easily done from note pad, but the otherway around not so much (without going to the chat log)
