After 10's of hours of trying to figure out why my game kept randomly stuttering with varying intensity every 3-5 seconds, I finally found it! https://www.oo-software.com/en/shutup10

This is a software that lets you disable Microsoft tracking and reporting software, and it finally fixed my stuttering. I tried nvidia control panel fixes, setting optimizeram to 0 in json, reinstalled my nvidia drivers, etc. So if you've tried all of those and to no avail, pray this be your final jaunt to victory lmao.

Welcome to the forum.

I think it's wise to remove Windows malware/spyware/bloatware because it's not needed. I do this as the first task after installing the OS. I am glad that this has improved your performance, presumably not just for VS but other titles too.

The one note of caution I would add is I'd recommend people use a github script to do this, as you can drop into the repository and see the actual script that is going to be running. Downloading and installing an exe from a 3rd party leaves you open to that app doing things you don't want to.

For example: https://github.com/Raphire/Win11Debloat with the active script being here.. https://github.com/Raphire/Win11Debloat/blob/master/Win11Debloat.ps1

I know this is a bit old but this saved my life. For like a week now I have not been able to play because of stuttering. I had tried everything until I stumbled upon this post. I tried your fix and the stutters are gone. It has only been 30 minutes so maybe they return but I'm pretty sure it is fixed as before it was instant upon launch.

Thank you ❤️
