snow not spawning

I'm having a strange issue, its mid-winter in my world and it seems like snow will not spawn in the chunk my house is in, like its forming all around my home, but for a single square theres nothing, I've tried using a commands to make it rain and it didn't do anything, I'm assuming this is not normal? is there a fix bc I do like the look of everything covered in snow and its awkward to very clearly see where the game isn't placing snow. not a game-breaking bug just more of an aesthetic issue.

You might be too south or in wrong biom.

The seasons are not the same everywhere, as you may have noticed in the weather. Some biomes have more rainfall while others have none, and the same goes for the impact of snow. Chances are you'll even get snow later in the winter.

If you've run south on the map, you may find yourself in a warmer part of the world, which would explain the lack of snow!

Snow only gathers on full blocks - if you've replaced everything in the square with half-slabs, farmland, etc., you'll get no piled snow.

If that square aligns to chunk boundaries and there are full blocks not getting snow, that's pretty weird - variation in biome ought not make a one-chunk pocket.

I have the same problem, it looks so bad In my world the "snow" is falling from the sky but it does not accumulate on the ground

Started to have this issue too. Looks exactly like this.

I have dedicated server, it does not snow in the chunks with players, but snow accumulates around. No errors in terminal whatsoever

I've seen this happen since I've started playing, it's a long-standing bug
