Sir_Reginald_Duff_III Posted April 7, 2025 Report Posted April 7, 2025 (edited) Good evening to all intellectuals who browse this forum, My two best friends in the entire world have been kicked out of their homes by their wives and are currently residing in the basement of a modest dirt home that I had built for them. Now, these blessed acquaintances of mine are not the most cleanliness of folk and have recently dropped their personal belongings on my floor. I am a gracious host; I do not want my beloved guests to be stepping on their exuviated body parts, I would also like to mount the aforementioned exuviated body parts on the wall of my manor. Yet when I attempt to pick up these fallen bits of curio, I find myself unable to. Even with a free hand (and plenty of inventory space) they simply will not be picked up for one reason or another. I fear that these keepsakes of my associates may be whisked away by the void if I am not hasty enough. Am I fretting over something of which I cannot control or are these things simply not meant to be picked up off the floor? Addendum: They behave like any other object in the game; when the ground beneath them is broken, they in turn fall. Not exactly sure if this is a bug or not. Addendum 2: I restarted my game and found both keepsakes to have vanished without a trace. I am in shambles. Edited April 7, 2025 by Sir_Reginald_Duff_III 1 1
LadyWYT Posted April 7, 2025 Report Posted April 7, 2025 You should be able to pick up shed antlers like any other dropped item; that is, they should just pop into your inventory as soon as you walk near them. If that didn't happen, I'd say you either encountered a bug, or you didn't have a free slot available in order to pick them up. In any case, if you don't want to wait another year for another chance at them, I would just pop into creative for a moment and pick out a pair or two of antlers to replace these ones.

I would try to relog, if that doesn't work it will just be easier to find new friend and slaughter them for their antlers kindly ask them if they would let you help with the weight they are carrying
