gooberflow Posted April 9, 2025 Report Posted April 9, 2025 Seismic Sensor, is a temporal gear powered device that is unlocked after getting to the Iron Age, requiring Nickel to make the Cupronickel rods. The device has 12 charges before needing to be recharged with Temporal Gears, it can be picked up and placed down, taking about 10 seconds to activate, during it will thump against the ground several times, after this, a charge will be consumed, the gear on it spinning slower to indicate its charge, and it will return a readout of the blocks below it, saying what it detected in the column below it. For example, if there was a copper vein, and then bismuth below it, and then iron, It would return Detected Copper Ore - Medium, Bismuth Ore - Poor, Iron Ore - Bountiful. It might also be able to return the type of rock, but that might be more than is needed. A rough idea for the crafting recipe would be Two Complex Joints, Eccentric Gearbox, Fluxgap Connector, Balanced Oscillator, Two Cupronickel Rods, and a Plate of Iron, Meteoric Iron, or Steel to act as the ramming head base.
