zenogax Posted April 27, 2025 Report Posted April 27, 2025 Evening, Just got the game a few days ago after a friend suggested it and i tried to port forward the game so we could both play together. Ive open my firewall ( i think. windows firewall) and port forwarded on my router but when they try to join my game nothing happens. to my knowledge my router dosnt have upnp (AT&T BGW320-500). If anyone has any tips im all ears
hjvtdev Posted April 27, 2025 Report Posted April 27, 2025 According to the screenshot you've only forwarded TCP traffic, you also need to forward UDP on the same port.

I'm having the same issue Mine is forwarded to the same port as above and set to TCP/UDP, Same router also AT&T.
clseibold Posted July 31, 2025 Report Posted July 31, 2025 (edited) Make sure the router port forwards TCP and UDP, and that the port is also opened in your Operating System's firewall. The wiki should have instructions for both of these here: https://wiki.vintagestory.at/Setting_up_a_Multiplayer_Server And here for Linux: https://wiki.vintagestory.at/Guide:Dedicated_Server#Dedicated_server_on_Linux Edited July 31, 2025 by clseibold 1
