Natural light in man-made cave under a windmill

I've dug out a cave under my windmill because I want mechanical power but I also want the cave ambience in my "lab"(which is why I'm digging a cave under my base)

Now the problem happened when the game decided due to the axle's letting light trough to get rid of my ambient music down there... So I covered it up and I'm currently leading my axle's between the dirt further so I can get away from the natural light. But there's still some light in here without a reason for it being here, I covered up the holes, there's actually no light source and no air pockets... So why is there still some light and how can I get rid of it?

Welcome to the forums! I'm not entirely sure what's causing the light there, however...if you're not opposed to using a bit of creative mode, you might see about using it to set up command blocks to trigger specific music in that area. I'm not sure which blocks you would need specifically, or what kind of commands you would use. I do know it's possible as that function was teased in a trailer(I forget which update), and as far as I'm aware it's how specific music is triggered for certain story locations.

I don't think that'd be the solution I'm looking for. Perhaps if a certain block is "glitched" into letting light trough, just filling the whole cave in or maybe replacing the stone blocks with a new copy of them might stop the light from being there.
As for the command block idea, I might not want to get into that stuff since I'm pretty new to the game still and I'd like to go vanilla as long as possible without mods or commands.
There's also the chance I'll trigger that music above ground too in my base with that and I'd rather not have that happening.

Okay so, good news. Simply fill in the room with dirt or anything that's easy to destroy but doesn't let light trough and find the glitched light spots. Covering them gets rid of the underground daylight!
