Drifters constantly spawning when temporal stability is turned off.

I used a server command to turn off temporal stability, and now drifters will not stop spawning even in daylight. I don't mind having the rifts and drifters when they follow the normal rules but I'm getting over-run. Am I going to have to turn it back on, or is there something I'm missing? I just want to mine iron without traveling 3000 blocks to the only stable iron source I've found.

Welcome to the forums! Which version are you playing on? There's been a couple of bugs recently regarding monsters spawning in daylight; one of those bugs was tied to turning off temporal stability, somehow. I don't recall if it's been fixed yet or not, but that's likely what's causing the issue.

1.20.9 so only 1 stable release behind. I'll keep an eye on the bug fixes and see if it comes up.
