Miquel Villarroya Posted June 24, 2025 Report Posted June 24, 2025 My friend and I started playing a server a couple days ago which he is hosting and where we played for a bit. If I switch computers but keep playing from the same account, will I still have my player or it will be a new one (as in singleplayer worlds which are locally stored)? Having an amazing time with the game btw ^^ 1
Never Jhonsen Posted June 24, 2025 Report Posted June 24, 2025 As long as it's the same world, you will have the same character and inventory. 1
Solution idiomcritter Posted June 24, 2025 Solution Report Posted June 24, 2025 (edited) welcome to the forum @Miquel Villarroya something I've noticed that will be different, if playing with the map on, the part of the map that has been revealed by the player will no longer show. The server map will keep waypoints and propick infos for the individual. there is a file in the map directory per client that holds the revealed map bit that will need to be copied over to the new/next computer, to preserve the revealed map Edited June 24, 2025 by idiomcritter

Never Jhonsen Posted June 25, 2025 Report Posted June 25, 2025 I always forget about the maps This isn't the first time I've said that on this forum either
